OfficeMax, provides goods and services to small and medium-size businesses, home office customers and individual consumers through almost 1,000 superstores and delivery centers in the United States, on the Internet at, via direct mail catalogs and through a nationwide commercial sales force.

As a part of OfficeMax's efforts to convert vendors from prepaid to collect freight terms, OfficeMax was faced with the need to evaluate LTL carrier pricing. This included comparing the current inbound LTL carrier against regional and national carriers.

OfficeMax was able to evaluate LTL discounts as well as other pricing touch points such as unloading allowances based on shipment weight using Radical Logistics solutions. The products' fast performance meant an evaluation of 30,000 inbound shipment records was completed in less than 2 hours.
