Radical Tools 4.0 is a major rewrite of version 3.4 and makes an already powerful application faster, easier to use, better integrated with Excel and much better positioned for future enhancements. For existing users of Radical Tools, this upgrade provides many new and exciting features.

- Supports ribbon menu used within Office 2007.
- Cleaner, slicker look, with more consistent and easier-to-use screens.

Ease of Use Improvements

- Ability to transfer contracts between different contract data bases.
- Easier and more consistent support of location ranges, with smart selection of columns.
- A more comprehensive and better organized help file.
- Pop-up hints and forms that provide better direction and help.
Enhanced Functionality
- New UPS and FedEx 2009 rates.
- New Q4 2008 Geographic data.
- Composite contracts that enable combining multiple contracts in different ways. For example, specific lane-to-lane costs can be supplemented with state-to-state rates. This significantly increases the ability of Radical Tools to support complex rate contract structures.
- Sophisticated Automatic Contract Compression allows the loading of large zip3 and zip5 matrix contracts, without compromising performance.
- rlQuickestOrigin and rlQuickestDestination uses transit times to determine the quickest way to ship.
- Ability to import multiple text files into one contract. As an example, this will allow the import of UPS multiple service matrix files, listing transit time to all codes from a given origin. Combined with the rlQuickestOrigin and rlQuickestDestination functionality, this can be used for determining optimum UPS shipping facilities based on service as well as based on cost.
